Keith R. Jaret, a Culinary Institute of American Graduate is the Executive Chef and Co-Owner of The Petite Cafe in Nutley, NJ. He worked for, and alongside many highly trained European Chefs in such establishments as Windows On the World, Le Mirabelle, Le Petit Auberge, and Mortimer’s Restaurants, before taking the helm at Cafe 43, a 180 seat Restaurant owned by Hilton International. He has in addition worked in large scale Catering halls, Hotels and Corporate Executive Dining.
Along with his wife Maureen, they developed a successful catering company called A Savoire-Affaire, and ran a Nuevo Latino Restaurant and Ballroom called Restaurant Ole at the Winfield Scott. Together they create a total dining package that makes you glad you came.
Keith has developed a style that embraces European techniques with American ingenuity. It is this “homegrown” style that he brings to his innovative cuisine. He believes that all foods have their own personality and it is his job to develop those personalities into a successful dining experience.
